Boise, ID — Congressman Mike Simpson announced support today from REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), the political arm of the National Association of REALTORS®, following a recommendation from the Idaho REALTORS® PAC. In a statement, Idaho REALTORS® President Tracy Kasper cited Mike Simpson’s hard work to not only help Idahoans pursue the dream of homeownership but also his work to build the Idaho economy as the reasons for their support.
“Mike Simpson has been a strong leader for REALTORS® and homeowners. He knows the value of financing options like the VA and USDA home loan programs and the need to stop harmful regulations like the EPA’s Waters of the U.S. rule. Mike gets results for Idaho families,” said Kasper.
“I have every confidence Mike Simpson will continue to stand up for homeowners, landowners, ranchers, and REALTORS® and ensure our voice is heard,” continued Kasper.
“I am proud and grateful to have the support of such large and influential state and national organizations,” said Mike Simpson. “The Idaho and National Associations of REALTORS® represent the true leaders of our economy. I look forward to working with REALTORS® to not only accelerate our housing market recovery, but also encourage the broader economic growth that stems from a strong housing market.”
The National Association of REALTORS® was founded in 1908 and is America’s largest trade association with approximately 1.1 million members including NAR’s five commercial real estate institutes and its societies and councils. REALTORS® are involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries and belong to one or more of some 1,400 local associations or boards, and 54 state and territory associations of REALTORS®.
